Don’t you just love going to weddings?  I sure do. I enjoy making the wedding favors too.  I can remember helping make favors many times when I was a young girl. I don’t recall the circumstances as how I was helping, but I didn’t mind.  There would be a table of females – all ages and everyone was working diligently on making favors.  There was laughter, story telling and food breaks.  It was all around a good time.  I don’t know if everyone felt like I did, but these memories stayed with me as I grew up.  I love helping my friends or their friends with wedding preparations to this very day.  Matter of fact, I am going to pick up a few items for God daughter’s wedding today.  I will be purchasing wedding garters, a wedding bridal garter and a wedding garter belt – oh and the wedding favors.  I asked my God daughter wasn’t one wedding garter enough?  She laughed and told me about her idea to share memories with her bridesmaids and I told her we should invite them to make the wedding favors.  She laughed again and said, “I don’t think they would consider that sharing the memories”.  Times have changed (I thought to myself) – that’s for sure!  But even though times have changed, I still love every part about weddings. Now when it comes to my husband, he does not share the enthusiasm that I do about weddings and the preparation that goes into them. LOL

I’ve got a bit of a problem as my fiance wants super sized wedding bell decorations and I don’t mean like just 1 or 2 feet tall.  My fiance wants to bring it up several notches.  He has me worried now! What could be influencing his thinking? I asked why and the only thing he said is it’s because everyone always has smaller sizes and he wants all the guests to remember the giant wedding bells on our special wedding day.  I told him there are so many other parts of the wedding I would prefer our guests to remember such as our wedding vows or perhaps the wedding bell favor project.  I tried nicely to change his focus to the wedding bell favors, but he catches on so quickly that I cannot fool him. Finally, he said he would help with both and when he was ready to pick out the bells and the favors he would ask my opinion.  Thank goodness, I was really getting worried, but now I can let it go and give him his decorating freedom.  I don’t even have to deal with the wedding favors so this turned out to be a false alarm.  I have a funny feeling there might be a few more of these just around the corner - tee hee…..

It’s true you know….  Looking for ring bearer pillows is the fun part.  I love this part. I helped some of my other friends when they were getting married.  I came up with this idea of ring bearer pillows wedding.  This means that I would find my special satin ring bearer pillow and our guests would get pillow party favors.  Then I could say that I am finished purchasing my ring pillow and all the wedding favors.  If you ask me, that’s a lot to cheer up about…..
